House sale with interim death certificate

My vendor owned the house she is selling to me with her ex husband who committed suicide. The inquest isn't for several months so at this stage she has the interim death certificate issued by the coroner, not the full certificate. Will this be sufficient to satisfy my solicitors request of needing to see their death certificate? Expecting to exchange this week so starting to panic over every little thing that could get in the way!

I don't see why an interim death certificate shouldn't be sufficient - it doesn't imply there's any doubt about him being dead, which is all that the Land Registry are interested in assuming the couple owned as joint tenants.0 -
If you're a week before exchange, presumably your solicitor is aware of the situation? What is their opinion?0

If they owned as joint tenants then the wife would automatically become the sole proprietor.0 -
They were joint owners so no need for probate. My solicitor said in passing today that she was going to need to sight the death cert before exchange and that the vendor's solicitor was going to send it over. I had a conversation with vendor about this as shes a friend of mine which is when she said about only having an interim one but that shed established at the outset with her solicitor that it would be fine. It was just me panicking, probably unnecessarily which led to my post on here.0
