Amazon cancelled my order and change the price after I paid.

Hi,
Last night I bought a laptop on Amazon that was on sale at a 55% discount for £860. It showed the original price of £1899 and that the discounted price was around £860. I bought it and paid for it, the money has left my account already.
Now I just got an e-mail from amazon saying the price was incorrect and they have cancelled my order. The e-mail says I wont have paid for this item IF it's not been dispatched, but I have paid, the money is not in my account. Yet the Amazon tracker says its preparing to be dispatched.
Do they have to honour the price they listed the item for, if I have already paid for the item?
What are my chances of getting the laptop I ordered for the price I paid?

Somewhere approaching zero. Their terms almost certainly say that there's no contract until they dispatch the item. And even if they didn't, there's potentially the argument that it's clearly an erroneous price. What are my chances of getting the laptop I ordered for the price I paid?0 -
Ok, Thanks for the quick response.
That seem's unfair to me, as I'm now £860 out of pocket until they decide to refund my money & I have no product. Because they decided to cancel my order because they made a mistake. I did not cause any of these issues, I honoured my side of the buyer/seller contract, and now I'm out of pocket.
It was clearly stated it was a large 55% discounted price.0 -
You are not out of pocket....money will be ‘returned’ status quo0

you made an offer to purchase for £860 and they have declined.
speak to your card company and ask how long it should take for the hold to drop off0 -
You'll have no issues. Money will be returned and you can buy a different laptop.0

I doubt they took the money. More like autherised it. I find amazon do not take the money until delivery and I use them a lot.
You run these risks if you try to chance obvious mistakes.0 -
They do sometimes dispatch these items by mistake. If it arrives, they won't try to get it back. Fingers crossed....No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
