John Lewis time expired Gift Vouchers

For some reason, apparently related to the buyer using loyalty points to purchase them, John Lewis Gift Vouchers I was given had an expiry date. Despite looking at the vouchers I failed to notice they could expire. I also forgot I had them, until they turned up in a big clear out a couple of days ago - but already time expired.
Took them to John Lewis Customer Services today, 2 weeks after the expiry date, and with only a short lecture on being more careful, they replaced them with vouchers with no expiry date. There being no expiry on the new vouchers became moot as I went straight away and used them all. :j

The vouchers you were given are the ones sent out as a form of cashback from the Partnership credit card.0
