Hello all, I’m In a bit of a pickle just moved into a flat a month ago and been hell trying to get used to this electric system. The set up- horstmans timer in kitchen with boost switch (assuming this for the hot water) and abov bath a very old worn out tank from what I can see is one imerssion heater and tank is divided into two sides. Every morning there is always a bath available but if I decide to take a second bath ( boost switch on now) bath will run medium hot for a few minutes then mild and stays at that until bath full and I’ve just wasted a bath for nothing. I do have a power shower but my 2 year old son throws the biggest fit I don’t know why he’s always hated the shower. Anyway I just want to be able have more than one bath a day. P.s switch /timer in kitchen for hot water is brand new made them replace when I moved in as markings were all worn of and even they couldn’t work out how to use it

The boost switch only heats half a tank of water. So that would explain it.
If you were to have the first bath around 7am it may help! or may not0
