More Lintel Questions.

My post war ex-council terrace has rusty mild steel lintels on the south (weather) side which I think need replacing as the expansion of the metal will eventually weaken the brickwork.
The lintels themselves aren't too expensive, though it's a wide window, but I've no feeling at all for the potential labour. Knocking out a couple of brick courses, propping with an acrow and replacing the lintel and bricks doesn't seem too onerous but it would still be good to have some idea of worker/days before I go looking for quotes.
Any advice welcome, thanks.
