House Up For Sale for Two Years - Reality Check Needed

It may be that you haven't overpaid ( depends where it is of course) , or are expecting too much. What else is available in that area? is anything similar selling ? It may be just that you are not 'seeing' what needs doing to make it saleable. Have you decorated at all, replaced stuff that looks tatty, are the photos any good ( I've seen some shocking ones), is there room to extend, that might be a selling point, is the garden in decent condition? Try and look at it through a stranger's eyes, from the kerb, through the front door and on.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. As a one bedroom bungalow, your best bet might be an older person or couple needing to move from a house. That may mean that just advertising on the internet might not work, not all older people know how to use a computer. It may also mean that the property has to be in really good order that doesn't look as if it needs work. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I think maybe the problem is this would be a LL purchase butat the moment LL purchasers are few and far between.
If you really want to move on then make it a bargain.0 -
Wind up? Underlines the brainwashing that many people took on board regarding property though, which is maybe the point of the post?0
