Closing 6 credit cards and worried about impact on score

It's your life, do what you want. Scores are fictional anyway, and they will recover. I've just closed a Aqua card (I didn't use it and they kept slashing the credit limit so it seemed pointless to keep it, the limit was £400 by the time I cancelled it) and my 'score' dropped by 40 points just because of this. I'm just ignoring it.0
