Any help advice would be a god send right now!!
I got a ticket on my screen from UKPC saying I had parked after the expiry of paid for time in a pay and display bay, £60 if paid with in 14 days if not £100.I hadn’t actually got a pay and display ticket I had just put a note on my dash saying ‘getting change’. I have ignored all letters todate, but today received a third one from DRP stating final chance to pay and they have recommended to their client to take me to court for the £160.
My concerns are that I rent a property privately currently but have to move as the owner needs it back. I’ve also just been served jury summons which I am keen to undertake.
I’m not sure if to just carry on ignoring any more or what?
My other query was that my car was first seen and issued at 15.19, is there no grace time at all??

You need to read the newbies thread first where all about this scam and what to do is explained, then come back for further clarification, we can't keep going over the same old ground thousands of times.0

First, edit your post to remove information about who did what. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper, who are two different people.
The Keeper has protections in law that The Driver does not.
Do this before you do anything else.
Then, and only after you have edited your post, read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES before sending a late appeal to the scammers using the blue text template you will find there. The NEWBIES answers your questions and tells you to read it first before starting a thread.
What happened when you complained to the landowner?
Have you complained to your MP yet about this unregulated scam?

UKPC are fraudsters, read this
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11858473/Parking-firm-UKPC-admits-faking-tickets-to-fine-drivers.html
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem become so widespread that MPs agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. It has cleared Parliament and hopefully, this will become law shortly. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

Thanks all that have kindly replied.
I’m that new that I don’t know how to edit my post?!
The deep.. is your advice just to ignore them then? I’ve read several posts saying UKPC are cowboys but am a little hesitant as they seem very old posts, I just wanted to know what others would advise right now? Do
UKPC ago as far as issuing court papers?
Are they allowed to issue a fine the same time as first seeing the vehicle??
Thanks 🙏0 -
