PPI reclaim again

Options
FOS rejected my complaint for PPI mis-sold in 2014
They look at my complaint again in 2017 after Plevin.
I accepted offer from the bank for the commission in 2018.

FOS told me my complaint will be close in 2014 and in 2017. They look at my complaint again because of Plevin.
I have new information regarding my complaint.
Can I make a fresh complaint again for mis-sold ?

I want to know what the rule say about this ?

It will have to be extremely compelling "information" for you to obtain any additional refund.

    What is this "information"?

You were fortunate with Plevin, but it still means your original PPI complaint was rejected in 2014..

As the FOS have already told you, your complaint is closed.

The rules allow you the right to complain and refer it to the FOS within 6 months of the complaint rejection. After the FOS have ruled your complaint is barred from being raised again unless there is compelling new evidence that was not available at the original complaint time that is likely to overturn the decision.

So, in reality, the answer is no, you cannot complain again.

Even compelling information is unlikely to be considered on a FOS case closed for so long - therefore your only recourse would be via the courts... even they may not be compelled to consider.

Forget it. The bank will just re-issue the rejection letter and will probably disallow the FOS from re-opening the complaint due to the fact that five years have passed.
At least you got something from it thanks to Plevin.
