Hi,
I have a old mortgage from Bradford & Bingly from around 2004 that has since been transferred to rosinca.
Is it worth claiming a PPI to see if I am owed anything.

You are not "owed" anything.

That's the point, I don't know if I did have PPI or not as part of the mortgage - which is still on-going.
I don't have the original paperwork.
I was just trying to see if anyone had clamed anything from B&B to see if it was worth trying to claim or not.:jTo be Young AGAIN!!!!...what a wonderfull thought!!!!!:rolleyes:0 -
First establish if you actually had any PPI.
If you did have it, present a compelling compelling complaint that it was somehow mis-sold to you.0 -

If there are no longer any records (or you didn't have any PPI) any complaint is finished before it's begun.0 -

Did you buy the mortgaege from a B&B branch or did you buy it via an estate agent or mortgage adviser?
Most B&B mortgages were arranged via brokers/estage agents.
B&B only sold monthly premium standalone cover with its own monthly direct debit. So, were you paying a separate direct debit to an insurance company?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

Find out from your partner then as it makes a difference. If an estate agent or mortgage broker was used then they do not use B&B insurance products and you wont have had insurance from B&B.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). And if a broker sold it to you your complaint is over as they weren't regulated before 2005.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
