Parking ticket, council, white lines worn

Anyone appealed a ticket as whie lines around a paing parking area worn out?
These were 90% worn out around the parking bay yet they turned down my appeal!!
How do appeals on this basis usually go? I'm happy to go to court over this.

Does anyone know - can I charge for my time in court?

If it is council owned car park, you should take this to Pepipoo for best advice. Don't register using a Hotmail address.

Thanks, it is on the street, not a car park.

Just a normal box where you have to pay, but almost no white lines. I don't mind paying where its my mistake, but this is just robbery.
