Hi
Our lawn has too much of moss last year.
Last year I did aeration and also top dressing.
Yet this year moss has come back.
Funny enough lawn under the shade shows no moss!!.
It is the area of lawn which is most exposed to sun that shows maximum moss and weeds.
What else should I do?

I had used moss killer twice last year.
also did lawn feed once
there are small patches between.
But weeds and moss is taking over that patch of lawnforgotmyname wrote: »Are there patches between the grass or is the grass fairly dense?

If the lawn in the shade is under a tree canopy, the tree will have roots under the grass which will absorb the water more , Moss likes the damp.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0

Also if the lawn that was exposed to the sun suffered from drought last summer, it could have filled in with moss over the autumn and winter. If that is the case, it may well all die again as the weather gets warmer and drier. But that will probably leave you with weeds rather than lawn...0
