10k savings

I am looking for a good savings account for 10k. It wouldn't be added to or would/could have small amounts each month. - less than £100. Happy to fix for a year but no longer - ideally an account that you can withdraw during the year - is that possible?

Have you ever had a Nationwide Flexdirect current account?
Or a TSB Classic Plus current account?
If not, consider opening one of each and set TSB to paperless.
Deposit £2500 into NW and £1500 into TSB.
Set up a same day mid month SO for £1000 from TSB to NW and from NW to TSB.
This gives you 5% on £4000 for a year. The 5% ends on NW after a year.
You can also open a 5% Flex regular monthly saver with NW for £250 a month - as part of your contribution to this you can use the monthly interest you receive on the current account.
TSB also offer a monthly saver but only at 2% - you could use your monthly interest as part of the contribution.
You could hold the balance of the money in Marcus at 1.5%.
