Never trust a trust deed

Personally I would NEVER recommend a Trust Deed it IVA to anyone ! They say they will write off some of your debts , but what they don’t tell you is that the total debt you owe will still be paid by you , but that two thirds of that go into the TD companies pocket and only a third of that amount to your creditors. They hound you for more money , they extend your trust deed to suit themselves - I would NEVER recommend them to anyone . Try and pay off your debts in a plan over a set period of time , stick to it - and you’ll be better off in the long run.

I've been in a Trust Deed. I was not hounded for more money, nor was the TD extended. Yes, I was surprised at the high level of fees deducted by the firm, but my creditors were happy with their payment and I ended up debt-free. Without the TD I'd still be paying some of those debts now.
