I think you need to take ownership for you not making the payments, not your employer
Firstly, I’m never one to push blame if I myself can be held accountable.
Secondly, that’s kind of a black and white statement don’t you think? This went on for a good 4 years. What savings I had, had been depleted by paying bills that my wages should have been. Also, in the trade I was working, there wasn’t much else around so it was either unreliable employment, or no employment at all.
The amount of ridiculous assumptions you’ve made is crazy! The job I have now is contracted. The contract I signed means my salary WILL go up after the training period. It’s not a ‘keep your head down and we might pay you more’ kind of situation.
I have no idea why you think I just avoided paying my bills? I don’t know what I’ve said to make you think that but you’re wrong. I was after some genuine help because this forum seemed pretty helpful. Didn’t realise I’d get such a self-righteous tool trying to judge me when he knows next to nothing about me. Lastly, before my previous employment had started messing me around, my credit rating and finances were immaculate! Never missed a payment on what little outgoings I did have. Thanks for your input though pal, much appreciated.0 -
