BBC website stuttering video but no problem with any other site.

Hi,

I simply cannot watch any video on the BBC news site without it stopping, caching and then running for a few seconds before it stops, caches then runs again.....over and over.

I have no problems with any other site or Youtube, Netflix, BBC Iplayer, etc. Just the BBC websites.

Could it be something to do with browser settings? Seems unlikely as the BBC website is the only problem. I'm on Windows 10 and running Chrome. Any ideas?

What browser are you using? Have you tried a different one?

Have you tried a lower quality setting? Does it do it then?

What download speed have you on your broadband?

Does it do it when you are on a different wireless network?

Have you tried using a different browser?

Is this with Virgin Media?

I get the same using Beeb iplayer. every other streaming channel works fine
I did read somewhere it is fairly common problem with the iplayer but no idea what solution is, or if there is one

Glad it's not just me! Tried to watch a couple of BBC programmes using Roku, BT internet. Had to give up due to the amount of buffering.
Haven't tried any other channels though.

I wonder if another common factor could be Roku? I use that
