How to use Boiler Noise Reducer?

Hi there
I have just had some new rads put in my extension (connected up to the existing rads) and the plumber has put some CH cleaner in the tank (for the old rads) and told me to flush it out 2 weeks later (which is today actually! Never organised, me!).
I'm to add the inhibitor when I refill the system, but wasn't sure what to do with the bottle of boiler noise reducer I bought - does it go in as well as the inhibitor? Is that ok to do? I know how to drain and refill etc though.
The plumber (although very good) didn't seem to know what the B/N reducer was for (I thought it was blindingly obvious!;)
) and suggested that I took it back to Screwfix for a refund, but being as my 9 year old boiler is making a few noises, I figured this stuff may be useful?
Any advice welcomed!
Thanks

Yes, you usually inject the boiler noise reducer straight into the system the same as the inhibiter.0

Hi,
Thanks for both replies - I bought Screwfix's own 'No Nonsense' brand, and my plumber did also say not to mix brands cos of differing 'ingredients' (too early to think of the right word!)
I'll have a read of the info on the link too.
Thanks again :beer:0
