Purple Bricks account weirdness

Hi,
I've had a lot of weirdness with my Purple bricks account in the last couple of days. I live in Manchester, and have been looking for a house in the Manchester area.
- On Friday evening, at 7.15pm, I had an email from Purple Bricks, out of the blue, which read "Thanks for your offer", and some details of a bungalow in Shipley, Yorkshire. I logged in to my Purple Bricks account, and there's an offer placed on this bungalow! I withdrew the offer. I also emailed customer services. I've heard nothing back up to this point. I hadn't even logged into my account for about a week!
- Shortly after the above, I went to my profile page to go and change my password. When on my profile page, a load of my personal details were different. My address was set to an address in Yorkshire. My date of birth was set to a date in 1953. (I was born in 1984).
- Just now, on Saturday night, I have seen an email from Purple bricks sent at 4.43pm today. It's a confirmation email, confirming an email change. Now I've just tried to log in to my Purple Bricks account and no longer can!
Can anyone advise please?

Why did you come on here asking for advice? Your account is clearly being used by someone else (perhaps accidentally if there are 2 almost identical emails, perhaps maliciously). Your first port of call is logically Purple Bricks to get your account sorted - provide proof your email address was the one opened it and get control of the account or ask them to sort a new one for you.
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

As said in my second bullet point, I changed my password at that point. And then, the weird behaviour continued the following day. So if my account had been compromised, that should have put an end to it right?
I already had emailed them, and my reply (which I got this morning) just read "I can find no record of your account with the details you provided.".
I also tried to phone up and the rep just said he also can't find my details. So now I don't know what to do?
My email address ends in @hotmail.co.uk. The email address is just my first name and last name. I do have an unusual and rare name. When I was on the phone, the rep did say he had found an account with the same address but ending in @hotmail.com. But I suppose, for security, he wouldn't give me any details in it, as the street address and phone number didn't match.
I work as a software engineer, and this whole thing feels like some kind of IT bug to me. Which mixes up a xxx@hotmail.com and xxx@hotmail.co.uk. And if so, it's a pretty serious bug!0 -
Also, as legally in England a contract is only formed at Exchange, it's not like you're going to get sued for (not) making an offer.0

Have you tried e-mailing xxx@hotmail.com? You never know, it could be an innocent person who is also having problems with purplebricks.0

Thanks Silvertabby - I hadn't thought of that, but good idea, I'll try it.
I've just tried ringing Purple Bricks again, and explained the whole thing. This time, the guy I spoke to is taking it seriously. Said he's going to contact their Data Protection team to investigate.0 -
Now I’m not sure how true this is because I’ve had it 3rd hand but our vendor has had trouble getting hold of their vendor via purple bricks. When they finally made contact, the exact words given to me were ‘apparently purple bricks didn’t know which house they were selling’ which gave me the impression there’d been some sort of muddle up there.0
