Jacking points Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross

sounds a daft Q I know, but anyone got one/knows where. Nothing in the manual/Google. No slots or marks. Don't want to go through the floor ! 2018 model

    In the manual I've just downloaded from the Mitsubishi website, after first googling, your question appears to be answered in section 8-16 et seq of the MY18 manual.

    thanks, yeah found it now. Cant believe jack just sits on the 'seam' "flange portion". Other cars have a dedicated slot/place. This all seems a little arbitory

    Are there no cut outs in the pinch weld (seam) either side of the jacking points. If the vehicle has a dedicated jack I would expect the shoe to be shaped in a way to fit over the seam and lift at the strengthened section.
    One thing many people do, if using a trolley or similar jack, is purchase an ice hockey puck to place on the jack shoe. They are available, on eg. eBay, with a slot already cut. Or without if it is preferred to cut yourself.
