Maturing fixed rate ISA funds

I have some fixed rate ISA accounts which mature a few days after the new tax year.
I am interested in views as to whether to arrange transfers to new, better rate company ISA's now? or to wait until after the tax year to see if there are any better rate deals then?

Sorry my crystal ball told me it was going to be unreliable so I sent it back but they told me they were unable to repair it as there was no fault found. I explained the fault was about to happen so they are monitoring it carefully. Without it I cannot tell when I can help you with your ISA rates forecast.

I wouldn't initiate the transfer until the ISA term has completed just incase the providers get all efficient and transfer it too early.

If you transfer a fixed term account before the end of the term you are likely to suffer a penalty that could easily exceed any few fractions of a percentage point you would gain from a new rate now
