Parking in Deal in Kent

We are hoping to take a break in a holiday cottage in Deal in Kent later this year. It is clear that parking is very tight there. We have no problem parking in public car parks, provided we can leave our car overnight. (We stayed in a small village in Kent last year which had no no on-street parking and the only public car park barred overnight parking which meant a lot of getting up early and moving the car. We want to avoid that this time round. )
Does anyone here know Deal.? We would be staying in the Conservation area so definitely no parking on-street, but is there overnight parking in town car parks nearby? Anyone know?
