Citibank Platinum - no more 1% cashback

Hello,

I just applied for a current account and creditcard.

Now I see the Platinum Card has no more cash back, is that true?

And the normal current account has no 4.5% interest, I should have opened a direct current account, right?

Damn it, is it allowed to cancel the spplication on the same day?

I see. Ok. It seems all the good interest rates are just possible with the direct application. Which I didn't do. I could go and ask if they would offer me this rates for the current account. Otherwise May I still be able to cancel the application?

If you applied online, than you will receive a pre-filled application through the post, where you can effectively choose from any of their accounts including direct current account. Also be warned that credit search for a current account (Experian) done only when they received this signed form along with all documents/deposits they requested. So the form itself does not mean that you have been accepted. In fact they will be able to see their own search for a credit card, when scoring you for a current account, which may affect their decision.
