Corgi engineer in Surrey?

Can anyone recommend a good Corgi engineer in Sutton, Surrey?

By good I mean will return phone calls, turn up to have a look at the job that needs doing and actually provide a quote.

I've been trying to get 3 gas fires connected which includes connecting pipeowrk as well. It seems that kind of work is not really of interest to anyone - I don't know why though.

So far this last week I have called 10 people from Check a Trade. Left messages on their voicemail for 7 of them and actually spoken to the other 3. Not one has returned my call or gotten back to arrange a time to have a look.

I tried several weeks ago when I again had some time off work and then I got a couple of them round and not one has actually bothered to quote.

I've posted a job for it on myworkman last week and have not got one person showing interest - when I posted there for a plastering job I hit the maximum of 4 quotes within hours.

I don't believe it's because this is the busy time either as several months ago it was summer and I still had no luck.
Is it me? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a secret code phrase I'm supposed to use?
