Northern by arriva parking fine

I have received a parking fine on my car for not being parked in a bay.
As you can imagine I’m not best pleased as the fine is £50.
It’s hell getting a parking bay in this car park even at 6:30 in the morning. So I wasn’t in a bay, technically I wasn’t even in the car park as was parked on the path at side of building.
Has anyone got any advice on how to get this ticket cancelled? I’d be very grateful.
The ticket states the vehicle was parked on railway assets (railway property) in contravention of the byelaws as displayed on the signage.
Railway byelaws made under section 219 of schedule 20 transport act 2000 by the strategic rail authority as preserved by Claude (a) & (b) of the railways act 2005. Byelaws 14 traffic signs, causing obstruction and parking.
Made under section 219 of the transport act 2000 by the strategic rail authority (the “authority “) and confirmed under schedule 20 of the transport act 2000 by the secretary of the state of transport on 22 June 2005 for regulating the use and work of, and travel on or by means of, railway assets.

Which part of the country?
Who has issued the ticket? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

now there is a novelty, a train operator (TOC) issuing their own penalty notices on railway land to the keeper
@ the op, what makes you believe that you can get it cancelled ? (or deserve to ?)0 -
Northern must be struggling for income. I use the train regularly and the local station has a small car park.
They have visited every day this week and left their calling cards, first time in years, it does say "parking charge", not "penalty" on the envelope.0
