WhatsApp Problem

Hi


When I get a WhatsApp message on my Sumsung J6 it shows as 2 messages even thought there is only one. The counter on the WhatsApp icon always shows double the actual number of messages. I have looked under settings and cannot see how to change this. Not a major problem, more a slight irritation.

    Do you have a 3rd party app that holds messages from different social media platforms? Sometimes, they can cause messages to double up or display new messages which have already been read.
