Rental deposit not in scheme

Options
Hello, I handed my tenancy notice in to leave towards the end of this month. I have asked the letting agent to give me details of the scheme they used for my deposit. They just seem to keep fobbing me off.

I have been here 2 years and at the start I did send various emails (of which I still have) asking where my bond is held. I never got a proper answer so just left it. I have since been in touch with the 3 deposit schemes and it seems that none of them have my details.

My question is do I just wait until I leave the property and hope they give me my money which they might just do, or is there a process I need to follow to take this further?

I saw a review on google from a lady who had the same issue, she emailed & phoned them for several weeks then finally threatened with court action before they gave up the bond.

Although there was no inspection or inventory when I moved in, I have looked after the property so believe I am due the full amount back.
