Indigo Parking Ticket - Have Ignored

Dear All,
I would appreciate some help. I have read the newbies thread but have another question.
So i received a final reminder from Indigo's debt collectors asking me to pay and have so far ignored and did not appeal within the 28 day timeframe due to friend's advice.
What is the best course of action now to avoid prosecution? What are the costs in the event of being taken to court?

It was nearly 4 months ago now! I received a “final reminder” the other day. Don’t massively fancy paying it. 🙄😂0

Just read any Indigo railway station thread - we don't need to repeat on individual threads every single week the same old stuff, that nothing happens and these time out after 6 months (if this was a 'penalty' in a railway car park).
