Royal Mail and Michel Thomas.

I've got two sets of people to praise.
One is Royal Mail. My son sent from the UK quite a heavy envelope to me in Spain and put on it ONE first-class stamp. Royal Mail have delivered it, with a sticker on the back saying that they couldn't send it airmail, so they have chosen an alternative method. When my son told me what he has done, I didn't expect it to be delivered at all! Well done Royal Mail!
The other organistion is the people who sell the Michel Thomas CDs (for learning languages).
We bought the eight-hour Spanish set four years ago and are gradually(!) working through them. We lost CD 4. I rang them and they sent me another free of charge. Now I've lost CD 6, and not only are they sending me another one (to Spain), they are sending me a booklet which goes with the latest edition, but not the one I had. All free of charge.
Way beyond the call of duty - thanks!

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
