    @OP - as you've probably determined by now, your Tesco bank account is a current account. By definition your money can be accessed anytime, and there is no penalty for closing your account (switching using CASS will close your account). The fix refers only to the interest rate offered by Tesco - it is not referring to a fixed rate bond/savings account where you have to keep your account open for a fixed period or else you will lose any interest accrued. The rate is still guaranteed at 3% until June however, but that's only ~£21 in interest per account at best (assuming £3k balance from now until then) so if there is an incentive you haven't had it is probably a good plan to jump on it while you can!
