Extreme leak in bedroom through new window

Hi,

I am desperate for advice if anyone could help me please

Last April we had new windows installed at the front of our house (2 upstairs bedroom, 1 front room). About a month ago i noticed in the corner of the wall connecting to the smaller bedroom window.

I had a look at the front of the house and it looked like some of the pointing had perished to the left of the window and the gutter looked like it had some grass/leaves sticking out. I thought there must be an overflow of water from the gutter thats dripping through the gaps in the bricks and socking into the plaster.

Last Thursday, we had a man come round and clean out all of the gutter and repoint the brickwork and thought that would be the end of it.

The rain has been quite bad this week here and the leak has got even worse now to the point where the entire side by the window looks damp, the corner on the opposite side and water is actually bubbling and pooling in the corner of the sill!!

Please can anybody advise what the problem could be/suggest what to do. I am so stressed, after the windows were installed we had the whole room re-plastered and decorated finally 3 years after moving in :(

I do have some photos here

Contact the company that supplied and fitted the windows.

Check there are seep holes in the frames

Mum had new windows put in and we had the same problem, turned out there were no seep holes. Easily remedied

Window fitter came round and said it was nothing to do with windows and that the gutter was to blame. Looks like next doors gutter was blocked too. We've paid to get it unblocked as weather has been bad here this week (hopefully their landlord will reimburse).

Now there's damp showing in the corner of the other window!

That's a badly fabricated window and the finish on the cill is terrible.

    Why is it so dirty?
