UKPC on line appeal not working

Ok so for several days I have tried to complete an on line appeal on ukpc.
Basically this is an alleged overstay of 22 mins above 3 hours allotted. Notice was sent through the post therefore not affording the opportunity to take photos on the day. Severe weather meant the journey to the nursery was abandoned, redirected to the car park in question Cheadle Hulme Asda.
The photos they provide only show car entering and leaving. SNOW was covering everything and due to child, needing to get a change went into Asda to buy nappies A’s didn’t expect to need them on route to nursery. Warmed up in costa prior to returning to the car - which self was a miracle for me and the little one.
So back to the on line appeal - for a couple of days it kicked me out after submitting the form stating error - and referring me to download form and submit postal ( i have read lots on the newbies thread about NOT doing this ) took screen shots of the error notice on different days.
Then i emailed an address that was posted on here informing them of the error warning. NO REPLY! Now for the last few days I enter all my details including the appeal ( as per template ) with added careful wording re conditions, child present and legit customer ( picture of receipt) and then the blue line skimmed across the top as if sent !! Nope!! Instead my appeal is still there, this time though it has changed the reg keeper to driver, omitted my status which is a mandatory Field, all my appeal wording and my photo. Wording under the 2000 characters and photo under the 2mb it states!! With no explanation as to what’s happening ! So I have now videoed this happening on 2 different days.. 25 mins ago my appeal time ran out.
There customer service line was shut! What happens now ? I have emailed aos@britishparking.co.uk to advise them of the website errors and asked them to inform POPLA
But what do i do now? Have 2 small children and I’m scared and what these thugs are going to try next
Help....!

I would post the appeal with a free cert of posting from the P.O. Counter and staple the receipt to a copy of the appeal and take pictures of it too
any complaint to the BPA AOS team is not about or for popla , its a complaint about the UKPC online system being faulty, stopping you from appealing and asking them to contact UKPC about it (not popla)
I would have done all this a week or more BEFORE the appeal window timed out , regardless of any advice you have seen about not using the postal system, due to the issues you were having
once your appeal has been posted (with a complaint about their online system being faulty too), I would await your reply from the BPA AOS team0 -
I really did start this a week before the deadline I have seriously been trying 2/3 times a day since then.
I appreciate your advice Redx, i did try different devices too, iPad and laptop.
Is there a way to contact POPLA?0 -
Oh sorry and my email to AOS was about ukpc online appeal service not working and requested they advice POPLA- sorry is that wasn’t clear ( like their signs!!!)0

Do not expect a John Lewis level of service from these scammers, any appeal you make to them will be rejected, complain to your MP.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11858473/Parking-firm-UKPC-admits-faking-tickets-to-fine-drivers.html
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of alleged contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors. Is has been suggested by an MP that some of these companies may have connections to organised crime.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, (especially Smart}, and others have already been named and shamed in the House of Commons as have Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each week), hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned. They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct
The problem become so widespread that MPs agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Hopefully, this will become law by Easter .You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
Thank you
My issue now is :I’m over my appeal limit of 28 days - no fault of my own that I can evidence
I will as suggested by redx write my appeal and send it to them with all photographic evidence etc
but ... can i do anything else.....?
Can i go straight to POPLA?
I will complain to both Costa and Asda - I CERTAINLY WILL NOT be shopping there ever again if this is not resolved
I will complain to my MP... but is there anything else i can do?0 -
Can i go straight to POPLA?
No, unfortunately you need a POPLA code from the PPC.0 -
Le-Kirk thanks but what happens if they now say I am over the appeal period ?
I have now submitted the postal appeal - i have told them i have dated screenshots of their error on line and the irregular on line form that alters my selected drop down boxes and asked that due to their errors they accept this appeal and either supply a POPLA code or dismiss their PCN0 -
Personally I would also complain to the DVLA that you have been denied access to Alternative Dispute Resolution as is your right by act of parliament by a scumpany that has previously been caught doctoring time stamps on their photo' "evidence."
In any case, you should complain to your MP about this unregulated scam.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0
