Natwest credit file default removed (settled)

So I wrote on here in January asking for advice and this is an update. Basically I defaulted on a NatWest loan in 2007! This default was supposed to be removed from my file in 2013 but NatWest carries on placing missed payment markers on my credit file. I had not checked my credit file as since the loan if I need anything I save, live within my means and only have a contract phone.
Anyway since 2013 NatWest have been trashing my file and I took it up with them when I checked my records in January and realised that this was the only delinquent account on my file.
I challenged them and today, I received a letter apologising that this should not have happened and it should have been removed in 2013. They had been ave informed CRA and I noticed that my Experian score has gone from 396 to 942! They will also send me a £100 chequeh for inconvenience caused. Missed markers are still on but I’ve written requesting they be removed ASAP. Maybe end of 2020 I can get a mortgage but thanks for the support and suggestions

You’ll be able to now yes but not because of the fictitious score.
Then again you would have been able to get a mortgage anyway with the default albeit via a broker0
