Travel insurance for pregnant woman

Hello we are looking for advice as my wife is very early pregnant and we need travel insurance to go to Thailand next month. Has anyone ever been in this position? Obviously when we booked the flights we were told about the Zika virus but we didn't expect my wife to fall pregnant so early. We are prepared to loose everything but just wondered if anyone has any advice.

You wouldn't be able to claim if you intend to cancel the trip due to the pregnancy after buying the policy if that's what you are asking

Me and partner used mamatob .co.uk They are a specialist pregnancy travel insurance company and the guys I spoke to were really helpful. Would recommend getting their insurance online!

Not clear on what it is you want to do.
If you want to canck an haven’t bought insurance then you’re stuck, this is exactly why you should buy insurance and when you book.
I’m not sure whether early pregnant you would entitle you to cancellation, insurers have strict rules on what qualifies so you can’t just choose to cancel and get your money back.

If you want to buy good travel insurance to go then try a broker, google, trustpilot, reviews or the recommendation given.
