Nope. Most complaints on here are "I didn't know we had it" or "we were told we had to have it".robtherelic wrote: »As for me not understanding how it works, you then manage to disprove your own claim by stating that it is, in fact, possible to make Plevin only complaints. I don't wish to claim for mis-selling because I don't think I was mis-sold. My point is that fact should not and does not prevent me from making a Plevin claim against the PPI provider.
I didn't disprove anything, I never said you couldn't make Plevin only complaints, in fact, I pointed out that you can! What I actually said was that the vast majority (talking 99.99999% of complaints) want a full refund of their PPI premiums + the 8% associated interest, not just a Plevin consideration which also doesn't even apply for most people as PPI was largely discontinued by about 2009 and Plevin only covers that narrow period of sales ~2006 onwards AND under the CCASam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
