Together Energy
I wish to inform people to avoid Together Energy. I have been with them for twelve months and found a cheaper supplier via MSE. The problem is getting a final bill as they take 6-8 weeks to generate one. I received my November 2018 bill near the end of Jan 2019 which showed my account in credit. I switched to another supplier on 8th Feb 2019 but could not get an up to date account. I paid my new supplier in Feb 2019 only to have Together Energy also take a payment on 22nd Feb 2019. I received my Jan bill from them on 1st March. Contacting them is difficult. Sometimes a long wait on a 0333 number (costly on a landline or mobile with no contract). No reply to emails either. After finally getting in touch I cannot get my final bill for leaving on 8th Feb until 8th April. Going to take a while to get this switch sorted!!

You should always cancel your Direct Debit when you have switched energy supplier. Don't despair though as they should not have taken a payment after you had ceased to be a customer so just contact your bank & claim a refund under the Direct Debit Guarantee scheme.0

I "moved" to Together when One Select went bust in Dec. I left them early in Feb. to join another leccy supplier.
Haven't had ANY emails from them since 5th Jan., they set an account up after I had moved ,which still has no information in (meter reads, statements etc), they still haven't sent me the final OS bill (promised by 14th Feb) -all in all, they are, without doubt, the worst supplier I have ever been with - why OFGEM chose them to be the Supplier of Last Resort when OS went to the wall, is extremely difficult to fathom:eek:0 -
I too was transferred from OneSelect to Together & switched to EDF on 14th February. I received a Final Bill from OneSelect on 15th February showing my £67 credit. I have had no bill from Together. There is an online account set up but no readings bills or statements are there. I'm not bothered as I cancelled the Direct Debit that Together set up without my permission & haven't paid them a penny for my consumption between 13th December & 14th February. They can take as long as they like sending me a final bill.0

I left OneSelect on 7 December giving them a final reading and with them owing me c. £200. They went bus on 10 December and Together Energy took over and I gave them all the details necessary to create a final bill and give me my refund on 14 December. I chased them every 8 weeks, and had nothing by a series of empty promises that they never met. Emails to their CEO went unanswered. In the end I raised an Ombudsman case and they found in my favour saying that Together Energy's customer service had been completely unacceptable and giving me £75 compensation on top of what I was owed. Finally a couple of days ago I got my money.
IMO Together Energy are not a fit and proper company to have an energy supply license. TAKE MY ADVICE AND STEER COMPLETELY CLEAR OF THESE UNTRUSTWORTHY LIARS.0
