Wanted: Galvanised Gates/ Railings Bangor area

Hi

Wondering if anyone knows of anyone or a company who makes galvanised gates and railings in the Bangor or Anglesey area.

My parents have had a very hefty quote from one company and are looking for some other quotes.

Any help or recommendations appreciated

Have you tried putting an advert in the 'Herald'? When we wanted railings we put an advert in the paper (for free) and had loads of people replying, all from Bangor/Sir Fon area. Worth a try.

Went with a local company in the end. They were a lot more expensive than I expected, but more or less the same as the other quotes I got. Unfortuantly the price of metel etc has doubled recently.

Costs a small fortune but excellent quality, ganvanised and painted.;)

Depending on your exact location, there are quite a few to chose from and would recommend you ask for a quote from a few. Also if they're not too far away, go along to their workshop and take a look at a few samples before parting with a load of money. I got a shock how expensive they are nowadays
