Can I switch?

I have 3 Bank of Scotland current accounts. Could I switch just one of them to First Direct to get the switching incentive or would the switch close all 3 accounts? Also do you need direct debits for First Direct. Thank you.

The Current Account Switching Service switches and then closes one (and only one) account.

As with any switching incentive, you need to read its terms and conditions to satisfy yourself that you comply, but if you're happy to believe random strangers on the internet, the answer is no.

Thank you for your answers. I did read the terms and conditions and couldn't see anything about direct debits, so I just wanted a someone else to clarify it.
