Hi and thank you for this really useful thread.
I am in a similar situation and looking for a suitably qualified solicitor who can help guide me and my siblings through a similar process. My Mother passed away 18 months ago and her will (made in 2014) specified putting her share of the house into a trust..

Would you recommend selecting a STEPS solicitor in favour of a Law Society solicitor with the Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme Accreditation (WIQS)) accreditation? I hadn't heard of STEPs until i came across this and some other threads in the MSE forums
