I make food candles but..

I can't never sell them as we have different laws here when non edible items look like the real thing...sometimes health and safety gone mad or am I wrong.?

I make candle pies ie , apple/lemon/ cherry tart plus pints of "lager~" "guiness" etc but not allowed to sell to the public without some humungous insurance and public liability.

I know scented candles and rules on those is fair enough but food candles wasn't on my remit of being above what most people think as common sense
