Wet Room how Stop Shower Water going all over Floor?

Hi,

Wetroom has a floor like this:

https://imgur.com/a/IBPFMSL

The shower curtains don't seem to work keeping the shower water in the shower area in the corner of the room.

After shower the shower water splashes seem to go all over floor outside shower curtain area causing a slip hazard and muddy floor when other people walk in there you know what I mean.

Question is there a product that is wheelchair friendly that goes on the floor to stop shower splashes from spreading on floor?

Sounds like you don’t have the correct falls.

Yes low enough just about nearly touching the floor but not exactly touching the floor.

Isn't that the point of wetrooms? The water can go anywhere & it doesn't matter.

I have a wetroom and the options we have found/tried are..

I have a portable shower screen/ sometimes called a carer screen that i use. You can get fixed screens but i didn't get on with them.. too hard to open and i used to hit them when i fell.

I have an really good squeegee with a head that angles.

Last year we paid out to have the floor redone as it wasn't sloped in the right way that means i can now shower with just curtains and the water doesn't go too far.. my curtains don't touch the floor as i found that made them 'suck in' and go mouldy.

Understandable however wet floors are still possible slip hazards plus when people go in with footwear with the floor still wet it leaves a muddy mess you know what I mean.

Dry floor is better and I only expect the shower corner area to be wet meaning 3/4 floor dry leaving 1/4 wet I dont mind for shower area.

A shower screen looks good however we find curtains to be more wheelchair friendly than shower screens. Portable ones are really expensive and kinda fiddly to setup everytime for a shower.

You mean squeegee on your portable shower screen?

I think he means one for the floor. Search the internet for "Floor squeegee for wet room"

I bought a mop with a microfiber head for my mum's floor - it didn't dry the floor completely but enough that it dried much more quickly.
