House sale - Issues with property!

Hi
After moving house, when moving in we noticed a couple of issues with the property - such as a few holes in the wall hidden behind pictures and a damaged bath panel - which was hidden away when we viewed a couple of times.
Where do we stand with this - or is it sold as seen?!?
