I defaulted on a number of accounts in 2009-2010. I wasn't able to get mainstream credit until all of the defaults dropped off my credit files. It is just a matter of being patient.
I work within the voluntary sector, supporting vulnerable people to rebuild their lives.

That would make sense, thankfully most of my defaults drop off within the next 3-6 months0
