Bus lane penalty charge - wrong address

A neighbour has received several bus lane penalty charge letters from the local council addressed to me but with wrong address. A few have been returned as 'not known at this address'


It was a hire car from last year and although has my name on the letter it does not have my correct address/house number.


The latest one is an 'order for recovery - unpaid penalty charge'.
Is it enforceable if they have not sent any communications to my actual address?


Any advice appreciated.

This forum tends to major on private parking issues. Better if you take your council situation to Pepipoo and read a few posts so you get the idea of what they are about before joining but NOT with a HOTMAIL address.

At ORDER FOR RECOVERY stage you are JUST in time to apply to the TEC to re-set the case to appeal stage, with pepipoo help.

Ignore the OFR and you could get bailiffs, so seize the chance to fill in the TEC forms. Pepipoo posters will explain.
