Carpetright Installation failure!

Hi,

An update for you all, they kept delaying things and so we found our way to speaking to someone higher than regional who eventually got things moving!

They sent out another two individuals to inspect the floor, one I think was from Carpetright and one was a 3rd party fitter who both agreed that the fitting was beyond unacceptable and that the property had been left in a worse condition than before the floor was fitted because of the uneven flooring, scratches, sharp edges sticking up, glue on the doors, glue on the walls, gaps in the flooring and glue all over the floor

They filed a new report with Carpetright and Carpetright agreed to fully replace the floor and offered (which we accepted) to fit two other rooms with flooring which would have cost £1200 to get done so in the end they essentially replaced the floor and gave a 75% refund.

The new fitter was very polite and did an amazing job, it looks completely different and he made it look so easy. The previous fitter must have just been really !!!!!! because the new fitter laid the floor in a shorter amount of time and did everything to perfection. I have zero issues with the new fitting.
