Hi guys, not looking to cancel but just want to know ( incase I did )
In an 18th month contract for Entertainment
Is it possible to carry on paying for the remainder ( so £22 ) per month in my case, or would I have to pay the whole lot in one go ( early temination fee )
Here: http://storage.sky.com/prod/helpcentre/UK_ETC_18_February_2019.pdf
It says the early termination fee is £13.40 multiplied by the months left.
Thanks :j

Typically an early termination fee you'd have to pay in one go because otherwise you wouldn't be terminating, you'd be paying your monthly costs!
However do check your T&Cs because it can mean you may not be able to cancel at all while you're in contract for a TV package.0 -
You cannot cancel SKY Q during your minimum term i.e 12 or 18 months and they can increase the price once during your minimum term.
The Early Termination Charges only apply if they cancel because you have breached the T&Cs.
However they have to give you 31 days notice of a price increase. Have you had a letter in the post? If so check the date on it and also what day did you get it?
Had my price increase letter today dated 2nd March it arrived today 6th March going off date on letter this means they have NOT given me 31 days notice of the price increase which kicks in on 1st April.
This is one way of getting out of the contract early!0 -

True.

For Sky Mobile, Broadband, Talk and/or Line Rental: Early termination charges only apply if your subscription ends before the end of your minimum term, for reasons other than those permitted under your contract. Please read your contract for more details. Your Sky Mobile contract is available at sky.com/mycontract (sign in with your Sky iD).
For Sky TV/Sky Q, HD, Sky+, Sky Multiscreen and Sky Q experience: To end your contract, you’ll need to give us at least 31 days’ notice, which can’t end before your minimum term finishes. The early termination charges below are only payable if we end the relevant TV contract within your minimum term because you’ve breached your terms and conditions.
If you cancel your service(s) after you’ve reached the end of your minimum term, you won’t have to pay any early termination charges.0
