HI guys,
Family of 2 adults 2 young children and looking for some help to find a good deal for a flight to perth over Christmas and new year
Live in cardiff but flexible with airports as usually travel to london
Gong for a family occasion so unfortunately has to be in school holiday times...
And advice/tips to book travel would be really appreciated as its looking around £3500 at the moment with long flights!
Thank you
- dates from 18th December - 12th jan give pr take a couple of days
- I know Australia flights are long but 35 hours is a big difference to 21
- A 2 year old and 5 year old
- It is not a holiday but a family bereavement so how busy in Perth is doesn't bother us at all
Thank you for all your help guys!

Long flights from the UK to Australia eh? Who knew!0 -
How young are your children?0

Assuming they are going to be 7 and 9, and you cant leave until schools break up on the Friday 20th Dec and you have to be back for schools starting on the Monday 6th Jan, Skyscanner is actually showing they would cost more than £3500 for 4 people.
You are choosing peak time, of course they are going to be expensive.0 -
If the long flights are an issue, you might want to consider one of the airlines that stops in the middle east. The flight time is split more 50:50 that way rather than 75:25 if you stop in Singapore/Malaysia.
It's a trip we do regularly at the same time of year. We book as soon as the return flights are made available but it still isn't particularly cheap.0 -
Qatar Airways from Cardiff airport.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

Perth will be empty...they'll all be in Bali or Thailand.0

£3171 from Cardiff, depending on your exact dates0

You could also consider Emirates from Birmingham with a stopover in Dubai.
Currently do 2 flights a day on the Airbus A380.0
