New bathroom. Installation costs

Hi.
I'm just wondering if anyone here could give me an idea of the cost of installing a bathroom and flooring in a bathroom which is 3 metres x 3 m approx (I'm yet to measure accurately but that's it roughly)
We currently have tiles on the floor but our bath leaked and so the boards underneath are needing to be replaced. We are going to take the whole floor up. What would be thr cost of a reboard and lying some vinyl? We would purchase the vinyl.
We are planning to keep the bathroom toilet and sink as they're both fine and still in good condtion. The bath we want to remove and replace with a shower enclosure and new shower. We also have nice white and silver tiles on all walls which we want to keep also but in the shower cubicle and along that one wall we are considering buying some multi paneling as I read this can be installed over tiles and gives a good waterproof wall. We are considering a shower that's integrated into the wall so I'm guessing the wall tiles would need to be removed on that side. The length of panelling along those areas us about 3 metres. It's not a large bathroom.
We also wanted our ceiling plastering..
Extractor fan fitted
Can anyone give me an idea of cost to install the above. My friend in Norfolk has bene quoted £1500 to install a new bathroom including shower cubicle, new tiles on the walls and extractor fan which I thought was an amazing price. I'm up in North Wales, about 10 minutes from the English border. Sadly too far to ask him to do ours lol.
We've not had a bathroom fitted in 13 years so no idea of costs now so any idea would be great.
Thank you
Scott

Ps and also how long does a new bathroom take to fit roughly? My wife has chronic illness and is quite anxious about doing the bathroom, I'm hoping it won't take too long for her.
I forgot to add my friends quite also includes plastering the ceiling. The plumber is doing the whole lot for her for that cost.0 -
We paid £1200 in labour for our bathroom. Plus a further £300 in labour for a joiner and electrician.
New flooring, walls and ceiling (cladding and composite flooring)
L shaped bath (moved from original location)
Toilet (moved about a 1 foot)
New basin (moved across the room)
Thermostatic shower fitted with control valves about 1.5 meters away for easy reach without getting wet
5 spotlights fitted
Ducted extractor fan fitted (not through the wall)
A beautiful led and demister mirror fitted
Shaver socket fitted
A built in cupboard constructed of a timber frame and moisture resistant plaster board, door frame and door for a washing machine and dryer
Electrics/water/waste for washing machine and dryer
New radiator fitted including sinking the pipe work into the walls
The walls needed plastered as the tiles which were originally on caused quite a bit of damage when removed
All pipework was in copper with soldered joints.
All fixtures and fittings installed
Removal of waste
The whole job from start to finish was 6.5 days, this over ran due to unexpected plastering and the entry points of the pipework to the bathroom needed reconfigured. We were left with a working toilet at all times. I wish I could share photos of this bathroom as the bathroom looks gorgeous! We are based in the north east and it was a heating engineer who did the job for us.0 -
He also constructed a solid bath panel with the same cladding as the walls were done with as we decided to sink the L into the wall and had no panel for the other side.0

This was done two weeks ago so pretty up to date price!

Hi AJ, that's Brilliant. Thanks for that, gives me a good idea before I get quotes in.
Sounds like your bathroom has turned our really good. I can't wait to get ours done but we've been putting it off with my wife unwell but we had a leak and it now is desperate. We don't have a second bathroom so that's a bit of a pain but I'm sure the fitter will let us have toilet breaks lol.
Thanks again

Scott I’m completely chuffed with it, like you it was one job we were dreading as it’s our only bathroom too. Make sure you pick an installer that you get on with and your wife feels comfortable around after all they will be in your house all week. Every now and then I would pop my head through and ask to use the toilet and he would go out in the van giving us privacy. Just treat them well with lunch and coffees and I can guarantee the time will fly.
Try to avoid proper bathroom shop fitters as thier quotes were up to 3x higher for the labour side, call around for plumbers, heating engineers and independent bathroom fitters. Don’t be afraid to get more than 3 quotes, its not just about price but quality of work, ideas from the fitters and the all important likability.
If it helps I did a lot of shopping around to keep the prices down, my suite was from plumbworld, flooring/walls/ceiling was from CladdingStore.co.uk, fixtures and fittings from Homebase and my mirror from amazon. I requested around 10-15 free brochures from loads of bathroom retailers to get ideas on design and current trends.0
