Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding. We'd like to remind Forumites to please avoid political debate on the Forum. This is to keep it a safe and useful space for MoneySaving discussions. Threads that are - or become - political in nature may be removed in line with the Forum’s rules. Thank you for your understanding.

Perhaps they don't want to stay in touch?

My sister's on it, but her OH isn't (they live together). I'm not on it, nor is my OH, nor my mum at her address.
Obviously hit and miss - prob depending on if they're ex-directory (which I should imagine most are).
If you don't have an address, I hope they don't have a common name!
If you have an address, is it a recent move? Post something to their old address in the hope it gets forwarded. Maybe put your address on the reverse.
Is the old number dead? Could they have just changed the number and not moved?
As above - social media. If not them, surely you'd have names of other family members or friends to try.
PS Could they have died?!2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0 -
Why not phone the number and ask whoever answers if they know where your friend has gone? Landline numbers often stay linked with the premises when people move.#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660
