Should I pay for credit reports?

Will I benefit from paying the £2 for a paper copy of my credit report from Equifax/Experian? I am going to be applying for a mortgage and we have the DIP with Halifax, just heard it's still worth looking before the full application for any surprises that might be on there.
I do use Noddle/clear score and totally money, will these give me all the info I need.
Regards
Michael

There's no need. Just use free access options or tools for each of the main three (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion).0

Under GDPR statutory reports are now free and no longer carry the £2 charge0
