Living-room Heating

This is how I did it in my living room. I took out a single radiator that was underpowered to heat the combined living-dining room when I demolished the wall between them and too tall so it stuck up behind the sofa and disrupted the room layout. Replaced it with a longer, lower double radiator that isn't visible behind the sofa. The amount the sofa has to be pulled out to get adequate heating is minimal. Simple but worked well in my opinion.Solar install June 2022, Bath

Thank you all for your advice. I'm now looking into getting vertical radiators to replace current, AJGuy it was your suggestion that got me researching them. Fire Fox, as suggested I've used websites to calculate heating requirements and one site brought up vertical radiator options. To ed110220 my unit is leather and I was told not to have up close to radiator, your floors are beautiful by the way. Now to source radiator and find reliable plumber to do the work.2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)
